What Will Matter - Michael Josephson

I really enjoyed this & wanted to share it with all of you!

"What Will Matter"

- Michael Josepheson

Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.

There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten will pass to someone else.

Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed.

Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear. So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to do lists will expire.

The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away.

It won't matter where you came from or what side of the tracks you lived on at the end.

It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant. Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.

So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?

What will matter is not what you bought but what you built, not what you got but what you gave.

What will matter is not your success but your significance.

What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught.

What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.

What will matter is not your competence but your character.

What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.

What will matter is not your memories but the memories that live in those who loved you.

What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.

Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident. It's not a matter of circumstance but of choice.

Choose to live a life that matters.

I Just Adjusted a 2 Hour Old Baby Boy!

Last Friday I just adjusted a 2 hour old baby boy! It was so exciting! I could see the power within his body turn right on! His left leg was staying short right after birth. Even Mom, told the nurses not to worry about that because the Chiropractor was coming shortly to adjust him and fix it!

Little David, like so many other kids through the years I have adjusted respond so quickly in part due to their bodies don't have the years of damaging effects and are like sponges neurologically, want to respond to all interactions. The adjustment opens up their nervous system instantaneously and you begin to see changes so quickly! After all, they were in cramped quarters between 37-41 weeks. How would you feel if you were in there?!

I just had to share this great moment in David's life, as I know it changed his forever!
Are you crisis driven? Waiting until pain gets the best of you? Break that pattern & get your nervous system checked now!

Are You Damned?

Are you damned by your genetic dispositions? New science says "No!"

Just as Albert Einstein with his E=MC2 and quantum physics change our perception of this universe and science itself, a new science of genetics, "Epigentics", has changed our perceptions of your future.

Does the environment determine your destiny?
-OR-
Do your thoughts determine your destiny?

Quantum physics refers to the environment as an extension of our mind. Epigentics or gene expression caused by mechanisms other than changes in the underlying DNA sequence can in essence change your health future. Instead, non-genetic factors cause the person's genes to behave "express themselves" differently. Lifestyles and behavioral attitudes are these non-genetic factors that change your imminent "damned" future or change your DNA's expression and essentially "turn on" good genes and "turn off" less desirable or damaging genes.

"A variety of compounds are considered as epigenetic carcinogens—they result in an increased incidence of tumors, but they do not show mutagen activity (toxic compounds or pathogens that cause tumors incident to increased regeneration should also be excluded). Examples include diethylstilbestrol, arsenite, hexachlorobenzene, and nickel compounds." - Wikipedia

So, as we continue to explore our universe, our bodies, and the mere essence of human physiology, we begin to unpeel layers of old thinking and develop new understandings that we are what we eat and think and not the mere elements of determined DNA futures. After all, God did give us an ability to "choose" our future. Isn't it ironic that our science is just now discovering that truth.

Chiropractors are like Mac's vs. Medical Doctors are like PC's!

I was recently describing the differences between our great chiropractic profession and the medical field to a couple of chiropractic students from Parker Chiropractic College.

I stated that the Doctor of Chiropractic - Chiropractors- (DC's) are like Mac's: Are constructed Well, do cost a bit more, but don't have the residual cost later that drive up the frustations and future true cost, don't have conflict issues resulting in shut downs, free of viruses and pop ups and simply stated are like a Well Lifestyle.

On the other hand, Medical Doctors (MD's) are like PC's: Constantly having internal conflicts, incompatibilities, full of viruses and pop ups, incongruent in lifestyles, want to be like Mac's (DC's) trying to steal their looks and technologies, cost cheaper, but in the end are much more expensive in the residual cost, and simply stated just "Not Well", but always sick and covering up symptoms.

A new term brought into the equation has been the "MediPractor"- Chiropractors who want to be Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine (DCM). This term in unto itself is an oxymoron since Chiropractic means "Done by Hand" in Latin and a profession for over 115yrs has been a natural alternative free of drugs and surgery.

My take on this is the MediPractors are like the Mac's simulating as a virtual PC only subjecting itself to the downfalls and weaknesses of the PC's / MD's environment. Even the Mac / DC can't overcome the internal conflicts of programming even with the best of hardware!
